Guide - What is analog input?
Every key on a Wooting keyboard can see how far you press down for analog input. Similar to how a joystick on a controller works, you can gradually control the amount of input.
We used it to get analog input in PC games that support either Xinput (xbox controller) or DirectInput (generic controller). You can still use Wooting keyboards as regular keyboards for typing at the same time.
That's the beauty of analog input. There's not just 1 area of input, there's an entire field of input that can be configured in any manner you wish.
Developers can also take advantage of analog input using the Wooting Developer Portal and create native support for their application, program or game. That's why we created the Analog SDK.
