Troubleshoot - Wooting keyboard guide
Still having issues after trying one of these fixes? Get some help from fellow Wooters at discord, shoot us an email, or fill out a bug report.
Try using a different USB port. There are some reported issues with USB 3.0 ports.
Close down any other background software that might influence the keyboard (i.e. Driver/Software from other peripherals.)
If you have Razer products - Unplug and close down its software.
Your keyboard has probably lost its firmware. This might be caused by USB power issues or a failed update. You can use the **restore guide** to install the firmware again.
There are currently two known solutions that might help:
Disconnect both and connect the device that you want to use first.
If you don’t want to use the Wooting keyboard, disable it in the device manager.
Make sure you have the latest version installed from our Wootility page.
Try using a different USB port. There are some reported issues with USB 3.0 ports.
Close down any other background software that might influence the keyboard.
First, check if your ANSI or ISO keyboard has an identity crisis. See picture below to identify if your keyboard is an ISO or ANSI. Then see if the same layout is displayed in the Wootility. If they don’t match, do a restore to get it back to normal.

Make sure the driver for the analog control has loaded.

Go through the Analog doesn't work steps
Make sure to update your keyboard to the latest firmware, v1.9 or higher.
Go to your general settings by clicking the gear icon in the left down corner. In the new window, it should show your firmware version.
If your Wootility doesn’t automatically update your firmware with a notification or prompt. Please make sure to download the latest Wootility.
Sometimes the rare bug or issue is best solved by simply using another computer with Wootility installed. If you encounter these unsolvable bugs, please let us know on discord, shoot us an **email**, or fill out a bug report.
Wooting keyboard doesn't load driver (yellow triangle in device manager)

The Wootility freezes during an update.

My keyboard doesn’t work and all the RGB lights are off.

I’m having issues if my Xbox controller and Wooting keyboard are connected.

The RGB lights stay on when I turn off my computer

I've done all the steps and nothing seems to work!
